Hi peeps,
I previously had a worm problem so I treated with wormerdirect.com Discus Wormer 5% I don't have discus just guppies but it did the trick 👍
After the treatment I added fresh carbon to the Fluval 307 and did a 80% water change and a 50% water change every other day for 2 weeks.
I then added 3 nerite snails and they all died after 2 days 😪 I then completely emptied the tank and rinsed the substrate, I then added 1 nerite snail but it died again 😭😭 it says that the main ingredient is Flubendazole and there's no mention of copper.
Is there anything I can do to be able to add snails and shrimp (not tried shrimp in there yet) to the tank?
Thanks 😊

You need to remove every last trace of the Wormer Plus as it does kill shrimps and snails. Lots of big water changes, run several batches of carbon either in the main filter or in a cheap internal used just for that purpose. After I've done all that, I finally run PolyFilter in the filter for a few days, the stuff that used to be made by Underworld and is now made by Arcadia (it's sold under both brand names), not just filter wool.

But it will be a while before any inverts can be kept in the tank I'm afraid.
