Just like title says, I have a molly that is fat (she is not pregnant, I’m certain of it because its been more than 3 months now) and i have seen stringy, white poop. I’m wondering if herbtana is a good medicine to use? I know its basically just essential oils but not sure if thats strong enough. Or should I use a salt bath?

if it is infested with worms, salt does not help a lot, or essential oils, i like to use prazipro, or API general cure

Thank you, what are the next steps for treating her? I have other fish in the tank, should I just treat the whole tank?

If one fish has worms, they all do.

Worms can be flat worms such as tapeworms or round worms such as camallanus worms.

For flat worms, something containing praziquantel.
For round worms, something containing levamisole.
For a med which kills both, something containing flubendazole
For all of them, follow the instructions about running a second or even third course.

If you have shrimps or snails in the tank, check whether or not a med kills inverts. In the UK, those meds containing flubendazole kill inverts.
