Working

I'd love to work in a LFS, but I don't know where to look to see if they're recruiting. I already hate people so that is not a problem for me :).

Also I think if people were more responsible and researched before they bought all kinds of animals, not just fish, then you'd give the LFS's no excuse to sell you shoddy merchandise.

Nicky, that's what we were talking about, its a business. Yes there are many good fish shops about but the bad ones out-weigh the good I'm sorry to say. Its all well and good an established company turning away custom as they have made a good name for themselves (hopefully) and have loyal customers. In the economic climate we have today I do not believe any company starting up today could afford to turn away that business. That's why I wouldn't like to do it. Plus, what MBOU said I can identify with. Dealing with customers all day, having to smile politely and put up with people asking lots of questions and then not subscribing to a word you say, it really wouldn't be for me, then again, nor would any retail job.

yeah true don't you think it would be good to give everyone a hand book to read though telling them what to do and so on when they buy a new fish
