Woooo Hoooo Got My Eheim Classic Today

well im off for a couple days at disneyland with the younglings, and i received my eheim classic today..no time to install it but i read through the manual and unless i missed it theres nothing about the double end connectors..unless i missed it in all my tongue wagging glory
can someone tell me how to install these? hopefully i will have some info when i get back to dive into this..i read somewhere here about these things blowing off and i would hate to find out the hard way..thanks dan

p.s theres nothing about placement in the manual.

the double taps can be situated anywhere in line between the canister and the in/outlets.
mine are imediately after the canister.
this allows you to (after unpluging from the mains) to turn off the taps and disconect the pipes, this keeps the syphon in suspension so you can easily restart the filter after cleaning it.

I've got about 6" of hose between the can and the inbound tap, probably only 3-4" on the outbountd side. I don't think it really matters, you just don't want to haul out 4' of tube every time you pull the canister for cleaning.

okay thanks for the help..yah i see what you mean..basically keep it kinda short so when you move the cannister its only a short length of tubing that goes with it..tyvm
