I just created my own diy co2 system and diffuser and im pretty proud actually lol lots of bubbles coming of my plants im hoping this is a good thing? anyway all my fish are fine but my Krib seems to be breathing quite fast is something wrong?

aha nope i copied other people's ideas http://www.youtube.com/watch#playnext=1&playnext_from=TL&videos=CCBK5SNNMLU&v=pFC5_6hcBLc

1 day lol its a 1 liter bottle with 1 cup of sugar & 1 teaspoon of yeast all the plants have little bubbles on them which keep floating to the top so im guessing everything is working just fine.

As i said everything "Seems" to be working just fine. Plus loads of people have got great results using the diy method. At the end of the day i am not gonna waste £100 or more on a co2 thingy id rather by clothes.

i also copied on of the power diffusers on youtube by attaching an old circular see through power filter housing to my jewell nozzel at a angle to send the water round in a circular motion drilled a hole for the air pipe to enter through the nozzle added a fine air stone and a thin layer of filter media at the bottom, works a treat all of the c02 is dissolved not a bubble reaches the surface! you just need a way of measuring how much c02 is entering your water. ive got a 2 litre bottle mix is 2 cups of sugar and 3/4 tea spoon of yeast the more yeast added the more c02 produced. :good:
