Woodpigeons - Kissing (And more!)

For the last couple of years we have had two wood pigeons coming into our garden ,they were always at it on the fence ,thats how i noticed them ) ,but a few weeks back i looked out the window and a sparrow hawk was killing a bird on our lawn ,i went hysterical but couldn't do anything,all that was left were feathers.Next day I noticed 1 wood pigeon on its own,I knew then which bird the hawk had killed,I felt so sorry for the pigeon sat on the fence on his (or her) own.

It's hard to find a gentleman in the betta world They beat their women until they submit and then he tosses her to the side and threatens her life when he's done with her

my younger cousin thought that the one bird was swallowing the other.
one time a pair of pigeons were going at it on my A/C system every day at 4:30 PM we'd hear em going at it like rabbits(or should i say like most livebearers )

those pix are awesome, now if we had only 2 that would be great. we have so many where we are that we actually started rejoicing when a Cooperstown Hawk started using our church tower as his own personal drive up window. or should i say fly up?
