As the title of the post says i woke up to fins my anemone wedged into my korallia 3.

i dont know what happened as when i went to bed it was on the rocks in the oposite side of the tank and then this morning in the powerhead. only thing i can think of is if it moving around and accidently got swept in the current.

anywasy its not looking good at all ive removed if from the powerhead and put it in a seperate container with water, air stone and heater to see how it fairs up. will let you all know what the situaton is when ime home from work.

I use the mag pump spongs on the maxi jet 900 PH in the anem tank.

i would not have removed it from the powerhead nor the tank.

This is actually the primary reason I do not keep anemones. As Adrinal says, you NEED to cover powerhead inlets with foam covers for just this occasion. And you have to keep the inlet foam clean, meaning rinsing weekly. Too much maintenance for me, so I leave the nems out of my tank.
