With barbs are agressive?

I had 6 tiger barbs, 2 green 2 striped 2 albino. They were a lot of fun but they nipped everything. I finally brought them back to LFS when they took a chunk out of a tiny cory catfish.

Tinfoil Barbs are peacefully disposed, however can grow up to 14", so not recommended for small tanks.

I want some pentazona barbs (Barbus pentazona).

I look forward to getting them early November when I get a bigger tank for my birthday.

Just as attractive as the Barbus tetrazona (in my opinion more so) but much less risk of aggression, Im suprised they are not mentioned more often.
