Wisper Filter Dead

we have a wisper filter for a 40 gallon tank. It has recently stoped working. If you put your hand on the bottom of it it is still vibrating. THe water just dosent come out the little spout thing. Weve tried everyting in there troubleshooting guide. Please help

A 4 i believe, its for a fourty gallon tall tank

Clean your impeller.

Pull out the intake tube, the impeller should be attached, clean any hair, gunk, fish, plant matter and reinstall.

If not attached remove filter from tank, remove intake tube, twist the energizer 1/4 and pull off, clean it good, and reinstall.


If you've already done that, remove the enegergizer and impeller, set impeller in the energizer and plug in, turn it by hand to get it started if it hasn't started itself. Listen for any crunching or scratching, clean both and try again/

If nothing else works, you've got a bad energizer.
