Nah, those long sleeves are probably there to hide your very close veins, they CAN be unsightly...

At any rate, I believe this thread has served it's original purpose, and then some...heck, I'm going to have to turn on the A/C tonight!

So, I respectfully ask for closure of the thread, there's another thread for discussion of some of the other elements brought up here.
