I currently have one BN, and i'm getting a community tank (only about 4g) I was just wondering if two BN's would be ok? I'm only havin friendly fish in it, so they shouldn't fight with anything else.

Hi,

I presume the 4g is supposed to be 40g if so you could have a male and female or 2 females. 2 males would fight in a tank that size.

If you are serious about a 4g then get a single betta alone or a single dwarf puffer alone, or a couple of african dwarf frogs, or some shrimp or snails, a 4g isn't suitable for anything else.

It aint gunna stay 1cm for long....

There is not a lot that I would recommend for a 4gal...
NOT a plec though.

My community tank is going to be a 7G, could I put two bn's in that?

use your head....

for 2 BN's you would be looking at a MINIMUM of a 15-20 gal.

a 15 will need a lot of water changed and filter maintance as they poo lots...

you could have a single Dwarf Puffer in a 7G... and nothing else.....

Seriously though mate, 7G's is tiny, and a BN will soon pollute the water and outgrow the tank.

Look all of the above advice says no plecs in any of your tanks OK these are all very knowledgeable people and personally is Smithrc told me no plecs then i would get no plecs. And if you don't have any space in your bedroom imagine how the plec would fell if he had to live in the small bedroom you will give him.
