would this work what do you think worth the money. its in australian dollers
could this work

sorry i couldnt figure how to get to this link have a look at the pictures and then at the filter what do you think, advantages and disadvantages

thats called a sump filter and would work like a dream ( there will be lots of advice on these, im not really qualified to say anything)... that tank with the storage above is absolutley stunning.
is it the whole tank you are buying or just buying and making the filter?
if its just the filter then there will be plenty of advice in the hardware part of the forum where people will be more than happy to guide you through making your own and saving you $$$$, working on the same basic principle of the one in the link :)

shelagh xxx

yea whole tank and filter its a real bargin, compared to what i was looking at!!! lol how would you guys decorate

black backing, black gravel, and a beautiful tiger oscar ,,, the options are endless, depends on which fish you would like to go for :)

Id use sand in it with a black background and some bog wood and plenty of plants and loads of cherry shrimp in it (stop im getting excited)

im excited im going to go look tomorrow and see if its as good as it looks, its a long drive, and i am doing my high school certificate in 2 week i really should be studying but you no what,...... IM TO EXCITED TO CARE!! lol

sorry i dont know much about filters but when people say what filter they have they say a number at the end i thought 3500 was like some kind of rate of water flow or something. what i ment was do you think that filter would be enough for a 6x2x2

the tank is 680 litres and based on the recommended 5 X turnover you would be more than covered with 3500LPH,( actuall being 3400) but i have had a look at the link again and im not sure where it says 3500

oh on the bottem left of the picture it says pump 3500. yes oscars are defienately and option although i have 2 large green terrors that need a new home and they havnt been know for there kindness unfortunatly.. mean buggers

 so it does!! ( thats me getting old and decrepid) i would say then that is plenty of turnover, you could go bigger tho if you wanted to, they are not that hard to make ( she says) but thats fine :)
