Will Tetra Neons Be Ok In My Tank

Most places would not recommend keeping angels and neons especially if the neons are small. I had cardinals 10 in with a red tailed shark, within 2 days I was down to 7 cardinals. I removed the cardinals then the shark started on the tiger barbs and wiped out 5 within 4 days.

Thats just my experience.

Good luck with the cherries! Do you have plenty of places fry could hide like leafy plants (fake is fine) just in case?

I think you'd be ok with 1 angel in the tank, I think 34 US gallon would be about the minimum tank size for angels as long as it is 18" deep! You would need to rehome 2 of them because if 3 get to full size then it would be a bit of a squeeze but I think 1 would be fine.

Also as angels grow they may eat neons because neons are an angels natural food in the wild.
