Fish Fanatic
One fine day I went to a fish tank maker. I told him that I wanted a 4-footer tank with the iron stand of 2 decks. My intention was to house the 4-footer at the upper deck and four 2-footer at the lower deck. This way I will have 5 tanks on a single iron stand, what an idea! LOL.
My rectangular 2-footer measures 24" x 12" x 12" whilst the 4-footer is 48" x 18" 18".
So placing the 4-footer on top length wise and the 2-footer at the bottom deck width wise will be ideal. However, there will be 6" hang over of the 2-footer. When I told him of my idea, he pondered and told me that way, later on all the 2-footers will crack because there was no support by 6". He even suggested not to 'cheat' by placing a wooden plank.
I was left with no choice but to still used the original 2-footer iron stands that occupied my small apartment. So my dream to have the 4-footer didn't materialise.
