thanx they are not alone in the tank there are neon tetras in with them is that a problem or not?She is displaying to the male but it doesnt necessarily mean they will spawn - depends if they have paired up and if the male is interested! If he is you should see him occasionally shimmy back at her and they will go around the tank everywhere together. Even if they do spawn it may not result in fry - they are prone to eating their eggs. if they are a young pair and do spawn they will probably do so unsucessfully quite a few times before they get it right - if ever!

Actually, it will be a problem. The neon tetra's will be killed and eaten. I 've had kribs( not spawning either) hunt down and kill large danio's. The neons wont stand a chance
