will i make my betta unhappy?

sorry for double posting, but i got my betta/ divider today. yes, i had to make my own, with the plastic canvas. buti went to my lfs and was just thinkin about gettin a plaket, but then i looked down at the VTs, and i saw the most gorgeous betta ever! he was a dark, nearly black purple, with blue, red and green fins. he was a must buy, even if he cost 4 extra bucks. i'll post pictures when i take them.

sorry for triple post, but i gotta get a better thing to hold the plastic canvas in! when i went up stairs, where my tank is, both of my bettas where in the same section even though they were only puffing up at each other i paniced! i put one back in the 1/2 gallon. any suggestions to hold the plastic canvas in place?
