she's got a lot more space yet, when she fattens up more at the rear of her belly she'll be much closer.

Can be very hard to tell with mollies, especially when young.. sometimes milloies can suprise you and dont get very big..

If i was to estimate this one though id say 7-14 days.

thanks she looks pretty big compared to the othe female molly from same batch, i'll have to keep a close eye on her

I only put my girls in the trap when they are getting really close, and then only overnight. I wouldn't keep her in there for more than 48 hours.

The short the time in the trap the better. After a while you lurn what to look for but it's hard to describe.

If you have her in a birthing tank where there are no other fish, I would leave her there. There is no point in giving her more stress by moving her back and forth between tanks. If you are talking about a trap and not a tank then get her out of it until she is very close.

that's right she is in a 10 g tank all by herself
