well a few days ago i pokd my zoas to see the reaction w/no gloves and nothing happened

well today this morning i accidenty dropped a small piece of lr on top of them, not thinking i stuck my ungloved hand in to retrieve it and now my toungue tastes slightly of metal, i have had the sniffles all day long along with slight chest pain/discomfort even with alergy pills and now im developing a cough but its gettign slighlty better, i remembered that zoos have palytoxin which be absorbed through the skin and now im a little freaked out if i had slight poisoning as when the rock hit all of them retracted not jut the impact one. will i be ok? i ll be up all night so sleep wont be happeninign

Palytoxins are one of the most toxic substances known and the symptoms it causes come onto you right away with risk of death within minutes. I wouldn't suspect them. Feel better!

And wear gloves next time!

Palytoxin I think is only really effective if it gets into an open cut on your hand, as it can get into your blood stream this way. Of course I wouldn't advise touching them without protective gloves on, but I don't believe you've have recieved any Palytoxin in your body.

Perhaps your mind is telling your body that you have got the palytoxin inside of you, and the slightest little everyday things may be getting to you mentally as this is on your mind

yeah thats what i thought, that it would probably have killed me but there was another article (cant remember where) that said the guy expierienced symptoms over a few days which is why i asked

dont worry, gloves from now on!!

still achy though, o well
