I got a few Danios the other day and I just found out that one of them is a leopard Danio and the others are Zebra Danios. Will they school together, Zebra and Leopard Danios I mean?

Thanx

Should do they're both generally good community fish although zebra danios have occasionally been linked to fin nipping but then we all have days when we feel like going for someone! :p

See my tank details below, I have 10 different Danios and they school and seem to get on together.

I did have a second Leopard Danio but unfortunately it died on Tuesday, no problems with my water parameters but a couple of red marks on the body.

All of the remaining Danios seem fine.

Hi there. I can only answer for Long-finned Leopard Danio's. They absolutely love fin-nipping each others long fins. You might have this same problem.

all danios will group together they will also cross breed
longfined are fine with zebras.
check my profile to see what I have and also checkout my website

Isn't that kind of overstocking it? I always thought that danios need space to swim, especially the zebras. And 10 danios in a 15 gallon?

Cheers,

Yes danios need room to swim, very active fish. So I think that is too many, they will be cramped in the tank and not be able to swim around the way they like to
