i have some small gravel (pebble like) about 1mm-3mm in size. Would this be ok for corys? I cant have sand unfortunately!

They will be bronze/albino corys

Gravel is ok but sand is prefered as they seem to like sifting sand substrate searching for food. Ive also read that some gravel types can errode their whiskers, so choose round gravel for your tank.
How come you car'nt have sand in your set up?

my lfs doesnt sell it, and thats my only source for fish supplies. I may be abled to see if they can ship some if its absolutely neccesary! Sand may also wash out my other fish as it is very bright.

what do you think? It is roudned gravel, and very nice and small.

thats great! congrats on the fry. Im sure they love your tank :) Ill go for the gravel option. if sand is possible ill tryi t!

As said, sand is better. However, As long as the gravel is small and rounded, it should be fine. If it has sharp edges, then it will probably damage the cories barbells, which will lead to bacterial infections. Cories can very easily get these infections.
