Hi can anyone give me some advice on whether very small clown loach would eat my danio fry? The clown loach are very young and small, only about 45 - 50mm in length, and my danio fry are now about 15 - 20mm in length. Also on a totally different subject does anyone have any best ways on getting rid of green algae? It is driving me mad, I am having to clean it every 2 weeks, I have tried cutting down on lighting time, but still getting it growing over everything. Any amazing little fish that might like to eat it for me?

Tank maintenance every 2 weeks is pretty normal, honestly. I don't have to do much cleaning because my bristlenose plecos take care of it all, but they're still young, and i know some plecos have a tendency to get lazy when they mature.

In regards to the main question, I can't see the loaches actively seeking out the danios to eat them, though being fish, they'll eat anything they think they can.

Thanks for your help, I don't think I will risk it yet then. I will wait another couple of weeks before getting the clown loaches. I have a small pleco in my other tank that I might put in with the danio babies to help with the algae problem, do you think he will eat the babies?
