hi guys not long ago i doscoverd a baby in my tank im guessing the others didnt make it seen as he/she is fairly big and with the behaviour of the ob zebras he/she belongs to them.

he/she is a fair size now id say the size of an adult neon tetra and is begining to venture out now but only at feeding really will he make it? or is there still a high risk of it being eaten? my fish list is below if that helps all of my fish are or are near adult hood except the yellow labs and baby obviously

look forward to some helpful replys :D

Pseudothropheus lombardoi (Kenyi) X1
Pseudotropheus Zebra (O.B Zebra) X4 (one of which is a baby)
Pseudotropheus Zebra (Blue Zebra) X1
Double Red X1
Labidochromis Caeruleus (Yellow Lab) X3
Aulonocara Stuartgranti (Peacock Cichlid) X1

This is one of those questions without a good answer- sorry gaz. Sometimes they will make it at the size you describe and sometimes they won't. Moving them (if you have a lot of rockwork/hiding places) is a PITB when they are that small and causes a lot of stress to the whole tank generally.

I would just hope for the best personally- but this is not really advice- just what I have done in the past.

Good luck!

survival of the fittest, just wait and see how he/she goes.

I wouldn't say he's out of the kettle yet. He is still small enough to get eaten and when he gets a lil bigger then he will be to small to defens hiself against the larger fish. Since he has a good hideing spot I would venture to say his chance is better than average.
