Any recent pics of the L200s? How do you like them? I've been looking to buy one, but are they easy to care for and happy? I found one for $30 a 3" hi-fin but not sure if I want to buy it yet....

So far so good with my L200 and L128. They both seem very happy and easy to look after so go for it they are stunning fish mate.

Matt, have you considered running T5's? Just wondered what the tank would look like under 'normal' lighting?

no mate i cant afford new lighting ive spent a fortune on these LED's. im happy with the lighting, you get some great ripple effects that you dont get from T8 & T5's.

today i started my EI fert dosing. a 50% water change then added 80ml of macro ferts and 8ml of carbon.

now im just gonna sit back and watch the plants flourish

When you were originally talking about using the powders I was feeling all enthusiastic but it's faded now

good luck with the fert stuff Matt. I've found my level, which is adding some liquid ferts each day and that seems to keep the vallis and crypts happy.

......going anymore complex with plants scares me.

yeah im hoping it will work ZZ. it had to be dry ferts tbh as the cost of pre made liquid ferts would be crazy in a tank of this size....

i would go co2 but lack of room in the cabinet and lack of space to add anymore pipework due to the FX5's maybe another time.

in terms of cost, I add 5ml of liquid ferts to my 320L everyday.........TNC costs about £15 for a 1L, so it's not too bad. Will look at the dry stuff when this bottle runs out though.
