Wild guppies

Wild guppies from the Commewijne River in Surinam. Collected by my foster brother in September 2024... He finally brought some for me after a couple of times that I've requested for some... The males got clear colors... Must be referring to the low predation in their habitat...
The top sword is an attractive trait...

Thanks... I got them as young fish. I myself wasn't aware of how they would look like as adults. The result is striking...!
This also proves that wild guppies don't have to be dull fish...

Very beautiful. My old Trinidad caught guppies weren't even close to those ones as far as good looks go. And the Trinis were nice fish.
