To lots of peole these guppies would be seen as feeder guppies but for people like me it's of importance to have wild guppies with a location. Whenever labs or zoos or looking for wild guppies belonging to a certain area, it's important that they know that they can get their hands on the correct wild guppy population. But also serious breeders of wild guppies can contact me if they want to contribute to teh conservation of certain wild guppy populations.
Even when such a population crashes in the wild, projects as such can rerelease original wild guppies to the endemic area.

I'm the proud owner of wild guppy popualtions from several areas of several countries.

Gorgeous. Do you know where in Colombia is that river? Is it in western Colombia? (Cauca or Magdalena Basins?)

It's in the South-East of Colombia.

I always like to see the wild forms of fish that have been extensively breed into different varieties.
