No I can put it in a ten gallon. What are tankmates of these? Do they have the same amount of aggression as the very common bettas you find in petsmart?

Alien Bettas are hybrids of the B. Splendens and a few other types of Betta like smaragdina. There is little I can find on temperament so I would assume them to be like their relatives and potentially be aggressive. I know a LFS that sells them near me keeps the males separated.

I will have them in a 40 gallon so how many can I keep? Has anyone had success with amazon ordered cattappa leaves? I will have driftwood in there too, because my water is somewhat hard, I don’t know why but my tap water is harder. Any other ideas to lower ph?

I’ve ordered Catt apps or Indian Olive leaves from Amazon and they were fine.

Don't order from a non certified seller. This can lead to complications and the risk of death of your new betta.
