Could you please give me the dimensions of your tank. I have a 165L and I swear it doesnt look that big haha. I'm thinking maybe mine is a little taller? Anyhoo, dimensions would be fab haha.

Tank looks fantastic by the way. Loving the tiger barb cove!

I've got 2 rainbow fish now as well :D.. Not ID'd them properly yet as my girlfriend surprised me by buying them :D

Anyway, here is the dimensions of my tank in cm: 100x40x50.3

Some more pics :)
Also.. lately, dark/thick algae really seems to be building up on a few of my rocks and plant leaves :/. Any ideas?

Very nice do your barbs bother the honey gouramis at all?

Barbs, not at all, sometimes the red-eye tetras will go after the feelers of the Gourami, and it's lost the feeler a few times :/, but for the most part - no :).

thanks thinking of putting some barbs with my honey next week

Just another pic of my tank, not much changed.
Just trying to get my head around a house move I've got coming up, such a stressful situation to move all this equipment and fish without disrupting anything.
Going to get a quarantine tank to put fish in, in my old house, whilst setting up the current tank in new house, and then bring fish to new house.

So I've got quite a lot of updating to do:

I moved house in April, which alone is a very stressful task, without the worry of a fish-tank, but I got it done!

I bought a 2nd hand tank to act as a temporary holding whilst I moved the main tank to my new premises and got it set up, and then brought the fish over in buckets...
Although with this 2nd hand tank I gained some extra fish (That the seller hadn't told me about). This tank was about 60 litres.. and it was being kept to hold a 4 inch silver dollar, red tailed shark, 4 inch gourami and a albino bristlenose.. which I had no choice but to take really (Even if I decided to not buy the tank I couldn't in my right mind leave them in that small a tank)... These new additions really don't belong in my tank 100% but they seem happy at the moment.

During my house move the tank got a bit neglected and a fair amount of brown algae built up. I have now added a lot more substrate and a lot more plants (Purchased the 15 pot set from Aqua Essentials [Recommend them for plants, although they've stitched me a bit on a promised offer that I didn't receive]). and updated lighting.

Lovely tank and nice and healthy fish :) Your Gourami is an Opaline Gourami. Does the BN always have the bent nose or is it just like that? I think the rainbow is a Madagascan but I could be wrong. Its a bit of a shame to rehome all of them I think if you wanted the BN, RBTS and the Gourami could stay. Though keep an eye on the RBTS as the tank is a little small based on aggression but could be okay and after their past it seems a decent option.

The SD and the Rainbow are not the best options though best to try and rehome or take to a store where they can find a school of their own kind.

Wills

Thanks for the ID's Wills.
Yeah my BNs nose is a little messed up, it's been like that for months, not sure what even happened, think she must have bumped it :/.
Yeah the SD I know doesn't belong in my tank, especially as its always nibbling my plants! Though my girlfriend likes him, and has named him "Buck".

Sounds like time for a new tank :) Silver Dollars are little lawnmowers your plants wont last too long now...

Betty looks to be a boy... The rainbow isn't a Madagascar, looks like a possible hybrid. I agree with Wills, the rainbow and SD should be returned to a store.
