Wifi Usb Adapter For Wii Gaming

bought one of these dongle things to play Wii games on-line but can't get it to work. my modem is wired and this makes it wireless apparently but just can't get a wireless connection. anyone used one of these??it's not an official Wii adapter but made by LM Technologies if that helps. any ideas appreciated. thanks.

I've never used one, but I have an Apple Wireless router (Airport Extreme) and it works a charm with the Wii. I get an awesome signal and it connected first try, no trouble at all.
