Why's he doing this?

:grr:
I had to dump some coppersafe into lucky's tank today too.
He's twitching too.

Someone is destined for me to have EVERY fish have had some disease at some point, and we're quickly going through the list of diseases we've hit.

:S Know what you mean. I just got Hunter through a bout of velvet. Went home over last weekend to find Batista showing signs of ich and of course the problems with Jericho. Seems like a never-ending cycle. *Deep sigh*

Was it maracide you treated him with?
Was he twitching and rubbing on things in his tank?
How long before you started to notice improvement?

Cuz I'm STILL not seeing any improvement with Charlie. :(

Yep, used Maracide. I think I caught it pretty early. I noticed him rubbing on the inside of his clay pot and then jerking around in his tank. I turned off all the lights in the office (my boss just looks and shakes his head) and did the flashlight test and there was the "golddust" plain as day. I started the Maracide the next morning with salt of course. It is supposed to be used every other day, but this was a Friday and I was off Saturday and Sunday, so he did not get the 2nd dose until Monday. He was already 75% better by then. By the time I gave him the 3rd dose yesterday, I did not see any sign of velvet left. He seems to feel great this morning. He's been doing the snakey dance and every time I even look at him he flys to the top of the tank to the feeding hole. He's such a pig!

I'm afraid that in Charlie's case, it went on for probably weeks before I knew about it. The poor guy.

I do have coppersafe in there now - I tried maracide and a full dose of salt, but it didn't seem to improve him much. Hopefully the coppersafe will work. I also started maracyn 2 because I saw red streaks on his tail.

The poor little guy has been suffering badly :(
