Why did my fish eat only the redish colored plants? is there something more tasty about them lol! :huh:
 
Red plants tend to need very high light levels to survive. I suspect your light was too low, allowing the plants to soften and the fish finished the job.
 
I had the same thing but lighting isn't my issue. I brougt home a nice Hygrophila Polysperma Rosanervig. The top 1/4 was loaded with purplish leaves. My angels ate it (the purple leaves) within a couple days. The same plant has green on the lower majority of it and redish/purple on the top. it is only the reddish one that they feast on. They nibble at most all my plants except for the java fern and limnophila. I think the red colouring may just draw more attention to the plants from the fish over the common greens.
