I have a penguin tetra that I've just noticed is covered in air bubbles,
I know they are air bubbles because if I touch him they float to the surface.
None of the other fish have them, and he is just as healthy as all the rest, just covered in the bubbles.
my question is this...
WHY! :dunno:

is he new? Was he playing around neer the bubbles? My fish got bubbles on her once. Shes was fine and I still have her. Maybe if you lift him out with net net they will go away when it reches the surface? Or maybe thy can be a disease. I dont know of any with bubbles though.

The only time my fish get a covering of air bubbles is after a water change and more so the Bettas.

Is it happening after a water change, or not.

Or as said is The PT playing in the bubbles alot. If so, is the stream of bubbles to fine and allowing them to stick to the fish.

all the fish in this tank swim into the air stream, they love it :D
this is the only one that seems to collect the bubbles.
and no it isn't after a water change, it's very puzzling? :S
