My avatar is the Stalking Awareness pin. Not a lot of people know about stalking awareness, I unfortunately know and continue to know first hand what being stalked is like and which there was more awareness out there. At the National Centre for Victims of Crime website, it says this about why the pin is this colour:

This lapel pin's reflective, colorless surface illustrates not only the invisibility of the crime (to everyone except the victim), but also mirrors what stalking victims often report they experience—the need to constantly check over their shoulder for the stalker.

Mine's from a scene in that Disney movie Fantasia. It's a bunch of longfinned goldfish swimming in exotic-like dances. I think the music during the scene is to part of the Nutcracker called the Arabian Dance. I used to watch the movie as a kid and always loved that scene...it might be part of the reason why I got interested in fish! haha I don't remember exactly, I just always liked it.
