If you are really that hung up on "natural" (ie, from nature, ie, real) rocks and such, the outside world has these things, for free. Preparing them for a tank is easy. Like I said before, I don't see any problem with a resin rock that looks real. A fake rock does not preclude a natural looking habitat for your fish. I agree that things like flourecent gravel and glow in the dark plants look bad, but I don't see a problem with a resin rock that looks like a real rock. Of course, in the end it is all personal preference. I just prefer natural. That is to say I like my tanks to appear natural, but they do not need to have everything "real" in them.
