i bought 4 x agassizi cory's yesterday afternoon and put them in my tank.looked this morning and 2 of them were dead.

my tank temp is 28c - 30c.is this too hot????

if the heat is the problem, would sterbai cory's be the best,or,are there any other cory's i could add????

16 hours doesnt sound very long to live does it????

i do at least one 40% water change a week so my water stats should be good

thanks in advance

I'm no expert but as far as i know corydoras like water between 26 and 28 i think maybe its too hot for them

 The temp was way too hot, as babybell911 said, 26-28 is the norm. What are your tank stats? I don't think there are any cories that would be happy with that temperature either. I'm not sure on the keeping of agassizi, but I have pandas which can be fragile and they were ok settling into the tank. Sorry for your loss.

thanks for the advice.trouble is the temp outside at the moment.i'll try turning the heater down a bit.
