I think we should rename this forum to

'board announcements and a big long list of excuses as to why we won't bother implementing your suggestion'

in all honesty, it would be a more accurate title.

I really think that this is unfair. Many good ideas have started here and come to fruition. See the Scientific Forum, for example.

But, in terms of asking for the same things time and time and time again, there are good reasons that the same old suggestions are not being implemented, and if people would just read them and understand that the decision is made, then I think that everyone could move on. Just because you don't like the reasons, doesn't make them any less valid.

A forum for you to all periodically ask the same questions over and over again and always get upset that the forum isn't run exactly to how you want it.

Board announcements and general chat/xotm request threads

RE XOTH Competitions
In the past Cheats have spoilt this aspect of the forum for decent folk so.....
Ok this has been asked before too.
Do you the membership have any suggestions on how we could stop the cheats from pulling all of the aformentioned stunts inorder to win an XOTM competition.
If there was a sure fire way of policing such actions and the judges decision final. With no moaning etc. Then there may be a case for resurrecting such compos.
So get your thinking caps on an do something positive. If it's viable then there may be a chance that you can sway the Mods current stance.
