Why Do I Keep Getting Logged Out?

normally i leave my work pc logged in to TFF, when i close the t'interweb (and i do, honest) and leave the site it used to leave me logged in when i next opened the site.

since lunch time today it's logging me out everytime i leave to look at another site or do some work

have the settings changed or have i done it by mistake? had a hunt in the control panel and can't find anything likely

I've noticed the same thing
(but it dosnt do it every time - I had to log in this morning again (as I had to yesterday too)...
However - I don't close Firefox completely down - I have our company call system open all day and just open new tabs to surf (work related of course)

Same here Miss wiggle..Iv had to log back in a few times today which I dont have to do normally And also earlier I replyed to a post and it had me down as a guest x

Most odd- please keep replying if you're having problems with this. Nothing should have changed- I also run firefox but am yet to have problems. Are your versions up to date? I will try and look into it, although am not sure how far I can get, I think there is an update for invisionboard out there, and that might resolve the problem.

i was having the same problem yesterday, but today it seems fine again

Hey, I've actually had the same thing happen to me a few times recently.
I thought I must have wiped my pc history / cookies without knowing. But nope I know I didn't.
(that's in IE7)

i wasn't using firefox when i had these problems yesterday. use IE at work.... unfortunatley

however today it appears to have fixed itself.

Ah, and there I was thinking I was going nuts and that my other half must have wipped out the cookies nearly every day.
I haven't had it happen to me in the last couple of days, but had it happen a lot in previous weeks. It really was quite annoying. I wonder if it stopped happening after FireFox updated itself last, I can't really remember tbh.

I have had similar issues with this and other (Invision) boards. This has occured on FF2, IE6 and Opera (whatever the latest is). I find it tends to happen when I am logging on from different OS and different browsers on different IP addresses.

I have two different OS I use at home (Ubuntu i386 and AMD64) and each has FF and Opera. At work I use Mickey Mouse Soft XP and IE6. I find if I log on through about 3 or 4 unique combos then the sites seem to stop finding the cookies properly.

I saw this yesterday as well, and first time in today I had to log in, but it seems allright since. IE7 on XP SP2.

I use Opera on Suse 10.2 and I've never had this problem.

To try and help out I logged out and relogged and left a few times but it still keeps me logged in.
