You can just scoop the whole nest, male and fry/eggs up and try to acclimatise them to a different tank- it will destroy the nest and the eggs/fry will not make it and the male will most likely abondon his nest if you attempt to do anything like that.

There should be no reason why your bettas can't spawn in the 10gal if water quality is perfect and the filter in the tank isn't too strong.

As to the angel fish, they don't need to be any particular age to harrass a male betta and have been know to rip their fins to shreds and kill them on occasions, which is why i was concerned. Female bettas aern't a target with angels since they don't have the long flowing fins to get nipped and slow them down like the males do.

My main point is that you aern't going tohave any luck with successfully raising fry the way you are going about it, you will just be putting the fish under alot of unesarsary stress.

What foods and how much/often have you been conditioning your betta pair on?

Do you read my posts before you post? I sayed I was going to wait and leave them in the breeder net until them mature and then transfer them. Juist cause people here haven't tried it doesn't mean it wont work. I Have done tons of research a long time ago when i first tryed breeding. Im not really new to this I just havn't gotten to the raising fry part which I am very confident will be able to do. It was my mistake to put the male betta in with the angels. My bad. You learn something everyday. Even if it has to be through trile and error. :)

I could ask you the same thing. Allow me to point something out for you that you apparently missed the first time around:

...if it really is a breeding net the fry (which are about as big as a comma on this page) are going to slip right out into the rest of the tank and be devoured.

Edit: Haha, almost forgot this part:

The plan was to keep the fry in the net until like 2 weeks or so and then put them into a filtured 20 gallon and some in my livebearer tank.
Does that livebearer tank have livebearers in it? If so, then allow me to show you why this is a bad idea (and also why keeping them in a breeding net is a bad idea):

Those images are life-sized. Do you get the picture now?
