I was wondering what these are because i began feeding my bettas these and they love it. Its very small, smaller than a betta pellets. The good thing about these is that they wiggle, they also swims too but not as often (like 40% of the time), orange, and they fall to the ground for resting.

How did you come about having something to feed your fish...that you don't know what it is?

LOL people tell me, i was feeding mine live tubifex without knowing what they were, she was giving them to me for free so i never actualy purchased them. Blew my mind as to ask what the heck they were, then i finaly figured it out when she was away for a summer and i had to look for them.

I wouldn't feed anything to my fish before asking what it was, guess I'm just funny like that. :S

hahahaha i noe SRC. But well...when you're hungry you gotta eat right. If my bettas aren't dying but actually getting healthier (my red tail cambodian is showing deep red fins for the first time and she's more active).

They look like daphnia...possibly.. -_-

But I agree with SRC. I'm a nerd about what my fish eat.

Well...my bro got them in the backyard....along with mosquito larvaes. Those vietnamese speaker out there or who have vietnamese parents, ask them what are
'BO BO' . That's what my dad and other viet people call them. Not the official name of the 'bo bo' though. (pronounce ball ball)

If they're from the backyard, they may be bringing in 'foreign' (for use of a better word) germs that your fish may not be able to fight off. Or they may be bringing in fertilizer or other chemicals. Your fish may appear fine, but they may have internal problems that you can't see. Personally, I wouldn't risk it. -_-

From what i heard, many vietnamese people who raise fish fed them with these 'bo bo'. Don't ask me how or why but they just do. I'll take the risk thank you.
Maybe I misunderstood you. Do you (or your family) raise them in your backyard, or did you find them there?
