I use a old central heating timer. Looks good and also gives me two seperate timers, hot water and central heating.

Nice idea!

I don't bother with timers anymore, kept getting jacked off about them going out of sync with each other.

I'd recommend a system 2000 lighting module like the one listed here:

I use some of their kit and it's great. I'd be having this piece on sale too but I've just bought a canon 400d so I'm skint now...so hopefully someone else can get it.
