I'll post my stock at the moment, along with their personality/tropes.
Also, I personally think I have enough fish in the tank, but since it's a 'family' tank (I'm the only person who feeds and cleans the tank -grumblegrumble-), everyone wants to add more.
How can I convince them that we A. Do not need anymore fish, or B. a Betta fish would really hate his tankmates, or C. that an entire school of neon tetras wouldn't fit?

Orange Balloon Molly: One of the original three who survived the Balatro-Amicus plague of yesteryear. Kinda ditzy, but otherwise calm - Red Oni/The Ditz/Dead Little Sister (Dalmation Molly will be missed T-T)/Angst What Angst

Black Balloon Molly: The second of the original three, who was rejected by the Orange and (deceased) Dalmation Molly after attacking the Gold Gourami when she moved in. Seems to be trying to earn forgiveness for his/her actions, and hasn't bothered the Gourami since. The Atoner/Failure Knight/Dead Little Sister (again, Dalmation Molly)/Blue Oni

Female Gold Gourami: The last of the three, she had a doomed romance of sorts with a shy Swordtail, before he died in the plague, and she has mourned his death for some time. Is prone to adopting new fish, and will drive aggressors away from them. Team Mom/Mama Bear/Her Heart Will Go On/Type B Tsundere

Male Pearl Gourami: The first new fish after the plague, he set his sights on the Gold Gourami almost instantly; it's a shame she isn't interested. He's the largest fish in my tank, and he knows it. He has recently started mimicking the Gold Gourami's habits towards new fish. Team Leader/Jerk With A Heart of Gold/The Big Guy/All Love is Unrequited

Clown Pleco: A very secretive fish, he laid claim to the unused Betta house the moment he arrived, and leaves only to eat. Ignores the other fish for the most part, although I did see him drive the Mollies away from a lump of zucchini. Seems to have manipulated the entire tank into letting flakes sink down to his level, which they never did before he arrived. The Stoic/The Quiet One/Berserk Button/The Chessmaster

Female (?) Diamond Tetra: The quieter of the two, although that doesn't say much. One of a pair, and the most recent addition to the tank. She prefers hanging around the two Mollies by the the filter, but is just as frenzied as her 'brother' at feeding time. Big Eater/Genki Girl/The Ditz/Type A Tsundere

Male (?) Diamond Tetra: The bigger of the pair, he goes crazy at feeding time, and seems to enjoy shadowing the Pearl Gourami. He took much longer to settle in then his 'sister', and has only just stopped hiding at the sight of people. Big Eater/Keet/Cloudcuckoolander/The Wonka

95 liters is a bit small for a pearl and a gold gourami IMO - The tetras dont work in pairs they are a schooling fish that need at least 4 more to their group ideally add 6 to make a school of 8. My advice would be to add these 6 tetras and rehome the gold gourami, they can get aggressive and a 5 inch fish needs a bigger tank IMO

See, my two tetras are entirely uninterested in each other. I'm not sure if that's because they don't have other fish to shoal with, but they've ended the new-fish jitters stage, and seem totally healthy and unafraid to swim about solo.
The Gold Gourami is incredibly meek - are you sure she'll get aggressive, especially since everyone else is relatively calm? I do kind of agree on the size, but she's only 6cm long at the moment. When I can convice my family to get another tank, I will. But that will take a while x-x
(Ugh, I always get the wierd fish - back when I had Cherry Barbs, everyone said they were a peaceful species. HAHAHA no. Mine were the fish equivalent of Yakuza. They hunted.)

*Oh, and before anyone says that my LS misled me, the Gold Gourami would therefore only be the second time they have messed up (Cherry barbs argh). I've actually seen them convince people out of buying expensive rare fish like birchirs in favour of guppies, if that's any proof of their integrity. It was my family who refused to buy more Tetras - they might have bought more if the Pleco hadn't cost £20.

People say that schooling fish pay no attention to each other in small numbers but believe me its natural to them and far far better for their health. Its instinct and also possibly why your "male" follows your pearl gourami so much.

With the Gold, if its a female (they have quite short dorsal fins) they are generally more peaceful but still the size thing is the main thing. Going back to the aggression they do kick off the fight will probably go towards the pearl gourami first.

Also just check the measurments of your tank as a 3x2x2 tank is about 75 gallons not 95 liters.

Yeah, the gold is female. She seems totally cool with the male pearl, and I've never seen them fight for food or territory. The male Pearl is apparently assertive for his breed, so that might help him if she does turn.
I'm trying to convince the family we need some more Tetras. Apparently they 'don't want any more boring silver fish. Plus, they'll just have babies anyway'. ssjadhajkfhajfhsfhsfk :<

Bizarre ._. That's the measurements given in the setup manual. Maybe they cheated (like how they do with rabbit/guinea pig cages), and included parts of the tank that wouldn't actually house fish. -checks-

Aaaaaaaand they did (surely that's illegal? The lid doesn't count as fish space!) -.- Subtract 12cm from height and 4cm from width. Length is still 3ft (aka 100cm) though. I must have overfilled my tank; I'll empty out a few litres excess. (on a different note, how many litres to a gallon or vice versa?)

The tetras wont have babies breeding tetras is actually quite a challenge. I dont know much about Diamond Tetra breeding but with some tetras the eggs are light sensitive and get destroyed in bright lights that of an aquarium. Also a schooling fish that looks dull alone will look thousands of times better when they are in a proper group! The dull colour could be a sign of stress Diamond tetras should be a really shiny white with clear fins, hence the name.

With the box labeling, not sure of the legalities but sure there will be some loophole. If you want a quick way to compare gallons to liters just type something like 45 US gallons in liters into google and it will calculate it for you. On this forum we work with US gallons rather than UK as tanks hold more US gallons than UK gallons. But liters is always the same so sometimes its good to include the US gallons and liters.

About the relationship with your gouramis. If its peaceful fair dos but the size is still an issue I think.

You don't have to remove any water, if it fits in, it's fine :good: Did you get the 95l volume from actually filling it up?

Yeah  Was that wrong?

Also, bad news on the 'second tank for the gold gourami' front - my parents refuse to believe that the poor girl will survive long enough to grow that big. To quote: it'll be dead in a few months, so what?
:grr: What is it with this perception that tropical fish never live long?

 no sorry only reason a fish would live for a few months is if there was real problems with the tank at which point all your fish would die. I believe the medium sized gourami like the golds and pearls should live to around 5-7 years. And also I had a gold gourami that grew from about inch and a half to 5-6 inches in about 5 months and then he went crazy so I had to rehome him.
