White Stuff In My Tank

hi I was cleaning my filter out fluval 305 external filter I cleaned it then put it all back together and turned it on and then loads of white stuff started to come out any ideas here are some pics.

plus my filter don't seem to have a good flow of water it seems quit week that's why I was cleaning it.

What type of filter do you have??

EDIT: Scratch that, sorry. Didn't read your post properly (I'm still half asleep )

It looks like it could just be muck that's been sitting in the filter. Mine do that sometimes, but the filter should suck it back up.

That's what it looks like to me anyway. Someone else might have a better idea

Like Gidge says its just muck that's come loose while you were cleaning, its perfectly normal, it happens every time i clean my filter, it will clear up in no time.

If i knock my external filter by accident while its running, a burst of gunk flows into the tank the fish seem to like it.
