White Stuck To Tank Glass?

There's like tiny white/clear dots on the side of the tank.
They sort of 'flow/wave' with the water, so they're not completely stuck on. Its been on the aquarium glass a few weeks now.
What are they?

Couple of weeks ago (1-2) we had an outbreak of whitespot. Its been completely dealt with.
Would it have something to do with that?

I can take a pic of it, its too small.

Hydra? Guessing really.

There's a nice post I saw somewhere on here with lots of pictures of stowaway small things. It was stickied and was a fascinating read with pictures.

That is however assuming it's animal in origin, rather than plant or mineral.

I agree, Hydra

sorry took a while for other posts to appear, if its not hydra maybe its just some strange form of algae or maybe a parasite just scrub it off but make sure it doesnt float off into the tank

Does it look like spots of bubbles around the tank?

OH NO! I just walked to my tank and I had the exact same problem, thousand of white spots strewn along the tank glass. it looks like tiny little strings about 1/4mm long clinging to the tanks side do I maybe have hydra?

Do they look like little trees (along the same lines as hydra but not hydra?) - I have them in my tank too but no idea what they are; I have a photo on my flickr but it's blocked at work for a couple of hours. I've had hydra once or twice too but these are not the same thing.

theyre not bubbles or snail egss- i dont have snails.
is this hydra dangerous?
