I've noticed that for the last month or so, my betta has had a white spot on the lower part of his front. I've tried treating him with Bettafix and some other medicine thats supposed to help with ick.

No luck, and its still there. I think theres another one growing on the side as well. :( He's 3 years old, and is eating a lot less then normal. He doesn't swim nearly as much as he used to either, but still gets his 'spastic moments'.

What should I do? I don't have a heater for him, since he's in a 2 gallon sized plastic aquarium.

wow...3 years old is a long time
This is what I would do.

to his tank add Melafix, Pimefix and aquarium salt (DO NOT USE TABLE SALT)

But this sickness might be like liver spots on a person when they get old. He is raelly old though :/

3 is old? For some reason or another, I was thinking that a betta would live to be 4 or 5 years. :/

I bought some aquarium salt a couple months ago when he had fin rot, and treated him with BettaFix. It worked great, and I didn't consider using it for the white spot. I'll try the other medicines you recommended as well.

On a side note: If you're treating with Melafix, please be aware that you may need to dilute the substance before treating the fish.
