Hi I have an outbreak of white spot and Wondering if it's okay to treat my tank with white spot treatment as I also have African dwarf frogs?
You can't add any medication to a tank with frogs.
But the best way to treat whitespot is with heat rather than medication.
Do a big water change and substrate clean to remove as many of the parasites as possible. Refill the tank with water warmer than usual and turn the heater up to get a temperature of 30 deg C as measured by a thermometer inside the tank. leave the temp at that level for 2 weeks or a week after the last spot disappears, which ever is longer. Then turn the heater back down and let the temperature drop slowly.
