White Spot On Botia

ok so i have 6 chain loaches which until recently were in a community tank. no other tank mates have white spot. there are 6 pencilfish, 1 betta 3 L number plecs and a catfish. all these are showing no signs. my chain loaches are now in a tank on thier own but am still treating both tanks, just in case. i am using ws3 original formula, its been about a week now and chains show no signs of improving. what should i do?

turn temperature up to 80 degs and treat as per instructions on ws3 bottle,

You need to dose half amount of white spot treatment because loaches have no scales.

Yes have been doing half amounts but no where does it say about 80 degrees. Might give it a go

Turning the temp up does not kill the white spot. It speeds up it's life cycle so the treatment works faster. Just a little trick we've learned over the years.
