I am getting a tank soon, with a load of fish which live in temperatures 24 - 26 (degrees C) I have been told by my welsh friend that the minnows live in temps 18-19, I'm wondering what to do because I really want minnows, but I don't want to go out and buy another tank, filter, heater just for them...not sure what to do

someone please help me!!! :-(

I have mine in my 38 gal at a temp of 76 to 78 degrees F. I've had no problems with them at all.

ALASKA

Cool fish - I'm really enjoying them.

I currently keep my white clouds @ 70-75 degrees F. They are hardy little fishes. Hope you get some, they are spunky little guys.

I'm welsh friend! :p

Omg! Dude.. look at this... :drink: -- Thats usually me and my boyfriend on a saturday night!!.. Unless we go out friday in which we are too tired...Meh.. animals are hard work.. I dont even know how many I got!..Dales the one that falls over lol

White minnows should have a temperature between 18 and 22 degrees C. They can live in higher temperatures, but they seem to slow down and get less active. I've heard (but can't prove) that higher temperatures may shorten their life span.

*shrug* It's up to you really.
