White Floating Fluffy Things?

I've noticed 3 or 4 little tuffs of fluff floating around our tank. Does anyone know what these could be??

There like little white blobs with white fluff round them and they just float around?! Very weird?

Sort of like those little danedlion flowers you used to blow on to make a wish when you were young.

Any one have any ideas?

Sounds like mold or mildew of some kind.....maybe rotten fish food?

Got a pictue of it?

i know what your talking about. My 10g tank had it alot at first. it has since gone away. Never knew what it was. Looks like a puff a smoke floating in the water or a slimy looking puff of smoke would better characterize this lol. You cant catch it with fingers it just slipps through, if the net does catch it you can never see it on the net. So take it from there.

i had something similar to that in my tank the other day it was attached to a dead leaf on my plants i`m assuming its where the plant was rotting...

My fish keep eating stones and getting them stuck in their mouth does anyone else have this problem and they go all funny n cant get them out of their mouth we have to get them out ourselves and the stones are not small.
