Hi Boep,

have a look at this chart and see if its similar to what your fish has. if its an infection then hopefully this will help. also i would check your test and see if they are ok, like your pH, ammonina, nitrite and nitrate levels are.

looks like fungus or ulcers its raised so im going to go with fungus but i hear thats rare in tanks .... also i just found a damsill fly nymph in the tank ... kinda having a #136### week i just did a water change on thursday of last week about 50% im so confused and i also have my clawed frog and the knife fish in the tank would these meds be safe?

I think so but you should read the label to double check before using it. or you can set up a small QT tank, like a 5L tank if thats not too small for you fish and treat the fish in there to makesure that the others are safe. but if you do use QT tank i would recommend using the water from the main tank and some of the bio rings from the main tank too, also a cup full of the gravel.

i used this treatment before and i have shrimp in my tank and they seem to be fine so i think it will be ok, but i would double check the lable first. i would have a look for you but i am currently at work right now. hope this helps.

oh yea one last thing. i would raise the temp in the tank abit but do it slowly because if you do it to fast it can be harmful to the fish. when i treated my fish i had it between 27-28 Celsius so around 80.6 fahrenheit.
