Conclusion: Nothing I did helped this fish. He weakened until he was unable to keep itself upright, and I euthanized him with clove oil a few days ago. RIP, Microbie. There is now only one of the original seven guppies left, and of course it’s the one that aggressively chases other guppies. The good news is that we also have eight progeny guppies, who (knock on wood) have been healthy so far, and out cories and pleco seem fine.. I will ask about tank cleaning in a separate thread.
