which type ?

im pretty sure they're africans of some sort, just no idea which exactly.
any ideas?
they were sorta an impulse buy so i could fill a 20 gallon i had idle
they're my first bunch of africans i have so any other info on them would be helpful like tank size water para's breeding size etc...
if they need a bigger tank thats fine since i just got paid aswell.

It's an mubna no doubt, which means right off the bat you need a larger tank for them. a 36" long tank is the minimum I recommend, and even then, only the less agressive species.

The difference between many species is subtle. Can you describe in words the color of it? By the time it gets a picture taken through your aquarium light, the glass, the lens, and then finally expressed by my monitor, the chances are it's not accurate.

I looks some what like a blue cobalt zebra (a very common cichlid). but their are hundreds of blueish striped African cichlids.

it's got a light neon blue hue with dots of yellow on the fins, thanks for the info btw anymore i should be aware of?
